Morocco through the lens of Catalan Business
Our Associate Director, Jordi Cebrian, took part this July in the meeting of the well-known “Harvard Group,” led by IESE professor Pedro Nueno and held in Marrakech.
This group of business leaders, with over two decades of history, regularly analyses Catalonia’s economic situation from various parts of the world. On this occasion, the focus was on Morocco — a country that, despite its structural challenges, offers significant strategic, industrial, and financial opportunities for Catalan companies.
During the sessions, Jordi shared his perspective on the development of Morocco’s pharmaceutical sector, highlighting the country’s role as the second most important pharmaceutical market in Africa and its growing investment interest in Europe.
